End of life

What if ‘the end’ is not ‘THE’ end?

As Lavoisier so elegantly said: “In Nature nothing is lost, everything is created, everything transforms”. The law of Conservation of Mass has always said it all. Why don’t we listen? Why don’t we create economic models that consider the permanence of resources in permanent use? Eliminating waste via infinite transformations.

This short reflection isn’t intended as the answer to this question, yet with it you might conclude that following a new path isn’t necessarily confusing or new, it’s just different.

Purpose is at the core of creativity. It is within our grasp. As investors and entrepreneurs. As people. Choosing a better way depends solely on us.

Choosing to invest in high risk opportunities, with strong social and environmental components. Taking a chance on innovative ideas, with a strong purpose, that have the potential to facilitate human connection. Daring to be different, compromising higher profit margins and sales volumes. For the betterment of society and equality. For quality.

To choose to invest in businesses with higher risk, but strong social and environmental components. To bet on innovative ideas, with strong purposes and potential to connect with people. To dare to do different, compromising higher margins and sales volumes, for social welfare, equality. For quality.

To innovate. Introducing new raw materials into production, that can return to us or the biosphere as nutrients in their infinite cycles. Or in services, to maintain resources circulating in the industry at maximum value.

The final decision is ours. To validade these strategies, designed with purpose, through our purchase. Choosing brands that make a difference and stand out from the crowd because they are committed to tomorrow. To embody this paradigm shift and spread our intention in all our circles of influence.
